The MAXIFY GX4070 produces documents at speeds of up to 18.0 ipm in black and 13.0 ipm in colour, with a first page out time of 8 seconds for mono prints. A 35-sheet automatic document feeder allows multi-page scanning, copying, and fax transmission without manual intervention. Automatic duplex printing is standard, helping reduce paper consumption during routine office output.
Pigment Ink and Page Yields
Using Canon GI-76 pigment ink bottles across black, cyan, magenta, and yellow, prints resist water, highlighter pens, and fading. Standard page yields reach up to 6,000 black pages and 14,000 colour pages, extending to 9,000 mono and 21,000 colour pages when operating in Economy Mode. Maintenance downtime is reduced through a user-replaceable MC-G03 maintenance cartridge.
Paper Handling and Media Support
Paper capacity is split between a 250-sheet front cassette, a 100-sheet rear tray, and a single-sheet flat tray. The flat rear path accommodates heavier media up to 0.7 mm in thickness, widening the range of printable office materials beyond standard copy sheets.
