The Canon imageCLASS LBP122dw II delivers monochrome laser output at speeds of up to 29 pages per minute for A4 documents, backed by a print resolution of up to 600 × 600 dpi and UFR II print language. Initial documents emerge with a first print out time of approximately 5.4 seconds. Automatic two-sided printing operates at up to 18 pages per minute on A4 media. Paper handling is managed via a 150-sheet input tray supporting media weights from 60 to 163 g/m², alongside a 100-sheet output capacity. Compatible formats include A4, A5, A6, B5, Legal, Letter, Foolscap, Indian Legal, Index Cards, Postcards, envelopes, and custom sizes from 76 × 127 mm up to 216 × 356 mm.

The machine accepts standard Canon Cartridge 071 producing 1,200 pages or high-capacity Cartridge 071H yielding 2,500 pages. A bundled starter Cartridge 071 with a 700-page yield is included in the packaging.
