Nakajima

Nakajima is a long-standing Japanese manufacturer, founded in 1923, and is recognized as one of the most trusted brands for electronic typewriters in the Malaysian market. Known for its “behind-the-scenes” role as an OEM designer for many global brands, Nakajima products are engineered for high-precision typing, durability, and professional-grade performance in specialized office environments.

The current lineup at WOWS focuses on the AX series, including the standard Nakajima AX-150 (13″ A4) for high-speed form filling and the Nakajima AX-160, which features an integrated LCD display to allow for text editing and error correction before printing.

Beyond hardware, Nakajima provides extensive support for both current and legacy equipment. WOWS maintains a comprehensive inventory of consumables, including:

• Typewriter Ribbons: Compatible with AX-150, AX-160, AE-610, AE-640, AX-220, and the high-capacity AE-800/Olympia series.

• Daisy Wheels: High-quality Prestige Pica 10 print wheels for sharp, consistent character output.

• Correction Tapes: Lift-off tapes designed for various Nakajima models to ensure clean document presentation.

For existing owners of discontinued models such as the AE-610, AE-640, AE-800, and AE-830, Nakajima continues to offer long-term value through available spare parts and professional maintenance services. Whether for legal documentation, form-filling, or specialized administrative tasks, Nakajima remains the industry standard for reliable, dedicated typing solutions.
