Description
The Falcon FRC3 is a 3-drawer fire resistant cabinet for documents, rated for one hour at 1000 °C to JIS S 1037. It measures H1190 × W525 × D755 mm (H × W × D), each drawer is H302 × W383 × D643 mm inside, and it weighs 290 kg.
- Individual locking: one 3-wheel keyless combination lock and one key lock on each subsequent drawer
- Each drawer compartment is separately insulated against fire
- Double tongue and groove between body and drawer front for a double heat seal and vapour barrier
- Fire Swell Substance as passive fire protection
Drawers
Each drawer takes an 80 kg uniformly distributed load on heavy duty metal rails with ball bearings, and pulls out 90% from the cabinet body to ease loading and removing documents.
Construction and finish
The plinth is designed to resist impact and a drop test from 20 ft height. Exposed handles use a 3 mm rod connected to the locking system, and the cabinet is finished in anti-scratch Durotect PUR Plus texture paint.
