Integrated Refillable Ink Tank System
The printer incorporates built-in ink tanks that allow operators to monitor remaining fluid levels at a glance. The system uses GI-790 ink bottles, comprising pigment black for text alongside dye-based cyan, magenta, and yellow colours. Replacement bottles yield up to 6,000 monochrome pages or 7,000 colour pages, and feature spill-resistant bottle tips to reduce mess during refills.
Print, Scan, and Copy Operations
Delivering ISO speeds of up to 8.8 ipm in black and 5.0 ipm in colour, the unit produces clean everyday paperwork and borderless photos up to A4 size. The platen flatbed scanner captures documents at optical resolutions up to 600 x 1,200 dpi. For document duplication, the colour copier produces single sheets in approximately 24 seconds and supports multi-copy jobs up to 20 pages.
Wireless Connectivity and Controls
The machine connects through 2.4 GHz wireless LAN and provides access point mode for direct wireless mobile connections without an external router. A standard USB 2.0 port provides wired desktop connections, while a 1.2-inch segment mono LCD presents basic device status and copy counts.
