Media handling and dual-roll feed
The printer includes an automatic front-loading roll feed with smart roll switching across dual rolls, as well as sheet feed. Output is collected via an integrated output stacker supporting media from A4/A to A0/E with up to 100 A1/D-size capacity, alongside a media bin and an automatic horizontal cutter.
Six-ink printing system
Equipped with one universal printhead, the system uses six ink colours: dye-based cyan, magenta, yellow, photo black, and gray, combined with pigment-based matte black. It delivers print quality up to 2400 x 1200 optimised dpi on bond and coated paper, technical paper, film, photographic paper, backlit, and self-adhesive media weighing 60 to 328 g/m².
File processing and workflow software
An embedded Adobe PDF Print Engine print platform processes PostScript and PDF jobs using 128 GB of file processing memory. Included software comprises HP Click App, HP App, HP Web Jetadmin, HP Security Manager, HP Click Driver for Windows 11, and HP Build Workspace with cloud-based AI Vectorization to convert raster drawings into CAD files, with HP SmartStream available as an option.
Connectivity and power specifications
Network integration is provided through Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base-T), with Wi-Fi supported through an optional Jetdirect accessory. Power consumption is 100 W during printing, under 36 W in ready mode, under 10 W in sleep mode, and 0.3 W when powered off.
