Dedicated Personal Printing
The Brother HL-1110 provides straightforward desktop printing for administrative staff and small work areas requiring monochrome output. Featuring a compact footprint of 340 mm by 238 mm by 189 mm and weighing 4.5 kg, it fits easily onto crowded desks. Connection is handled directly via a standard Full-Speed USB 2.0 port, making setup immediate without requiring network configuration.
Print Performance and Paper Handling
This model produces up to 20 pages per minute on A4 media and 21 pages per minute on Letter paper, with the first page emerging in under 10 seconds. The standard input tray holds up to 150 sheets of 80 g/m² paper, while the top output tray receives up to 50 sheets face-down. Media support includes A4, Letter, Legal, and Folio formats across weights ranging from 65 to 105 g/m², with two-sided printing managed manually.
Separate Drum and Toner Architecture
To minimise operating expenses, the machine uses an independent toner cartridge and drum unit. The TN-1000 toner cartridge yields up to 1,000 pages at 5% coverage, while the DR-1000 drum unit lasts up to 10,000 pages. Users only need to replace each component when its specific service life concludes, avoiding unnecessary drum disposal whenever toner runs low.
Energy Efficiency and Build
Designed in Japan, the printer operates at 380 W during printing and drops to approximately 0.5 W in deep sleep mode. The device includes 1 MB of onboard memory to process standard office paperwork and is backed by a 3-year carry-in manufacturer warranty.
