Print and Copy Productivity
The unit produces monochrome prints and copies at rates up to 36 ppm for A4 media, with a first print out time of approximately 5 seconds. Standard automatic duplex printing enables double-sided output across supported sizes including A4, Legal, Letter, Foolscap, and Indian Legal. Print resolution reaches 600 x 600 dpi, or up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi equivalent.
Two-Sided Scanning and Document Handling
Equipped with a 50-sheet Single-Pass Duplex Auto Document Feeder and a colour Contact Image Sensor, the device captures both sides of a sheet in a single pass. Two-sided scanning operates at up to 100 ipm in monochrome and 80 ipm in colour, whilst single-sided scanning achieves up to 50 ipm in monochrome and 40 ipm in colour.
Media Handling and Hardware Specifications
Paper input includes a 250-sheet cassette alongside a 100-sheet multi-purpose tray, expandable to a maximum of 900 sheets with an optional 550-sheet Cassette AH1. The output tray holds 150 sheets. Processing is supported by 1 GB RAM and 2 GB eMMC, navigated via an adjustable 5-inch colour LCD touchscreen with an Application Library.

Connectivity options comprise Gigabit Ethernet (10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Direct Connection, and High Speed USB 2.0. Mobile workflows are supported through Canon PRINT Business, Canon Print Service, Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service, and Microsoft Universal Print. Built-in network safeguards include TLS 1.3, IEEE 802.1X, WPA3, Verify System at Startup, and SIEM support.
Cartridges and Warranty
The device uses Cartridge 070 yielding 3,000 pages, with a 3,000-page bundled cartridge supplied, or high-yield Cartridge 070H providing 10,200 pages.
