High-Speed Document Ingestion
The workstation delivers duplex automatic document feeder scanning at speeds up to 100 ppm or 200 ipm for both monochrome and colour pages. Media handling covers dimensions from 68 x 148 mm up to 216 x 356 mm in standard operation, extending to 216 x 864 mm when long scan size is selected. A 150-sheet automatic document feeder handles 75 g/m² paper, supported by multifeed detection and a recommended daily duty cycle of 10,000 pages.
Imaging Technology and Document Separation
Document capture utilises a Charge Coupled Device (CCD) flatbed alongside a Contact Image Sensor (CIS) in the feeder, achieving an optical scan resolution up to 600 ppi. Document separation options include blank page detection, barcodes, zonal barcodes, and zonal OCR. Built-in optical character recognition (OCR) is included.
Control Panel and Storage
The workstation features an XGA 1024×768 LCD display with light touch gesture support, screen brightness adjustment, a Home icon, a virtual keyboard, and a physical keyboard. Front panel applications direct scans to email, network folders, USB storage, device memory, or Open Extensibility Platform (OXP) applications.
