High-Resolution Display and Contrast
The BenQ PD2730S delivers a 5120×2880 5K resolution across a 27 inch IPS display, offering 218 PPI pixel density and a 2000:1 native contrast ratio. The Nano Matte Panel incorporates an anti-reflective coating that is TÜV certified reflection-free. It supports HDR10 and VESA DisplayHDR 400, providing 400 nits typical brightness and 1.07 billion display colours.
Colour Standards and Calibration
Factory calibration delivers an average Delta E of ≤2, covering 98% P3, 100% sRGB, and 100% Rec.709 colour gamuts. The display is Calman Verified as well as Pantone and Pantone SkinTone validated. Built-in colour modes include CAD/CAM, Animation, Darkroom, M-book, sRGB, Rec.709, and DCI-P3, alongside DualView for side-by-side mode comparisons.
Thunderbolt 4 and Multi-Device Connectivity
A Thunderbolt 4 port delivers 40Gbps transfers for video and data alongside 90W power delivery, while a secondary Thunderbolt 4 output provides 15W. The monitor supports daisy-chaining for dual 5K 60Hz displays on compatible systems. Workstations also connect via one HDMI 2.1 port and one DisplayPort 1.4 input.
Workflow Controls and Stand Ergonomics
The integrated KVM switch allows one keyboard and mouse to manage two connected systems. Hardware control is provided by the Hotkey Puck G3, featuring three customisable keys and a rotation dial for brightness, contrast, and volume adjustments. The supplied stand provides 150mm height adjustment, 90° pivot, 30°/30° swivel, and -5°~20° tilt, with 100×100 mm VESA wall mounting compatibility.
