The BenQ SW242Q reproduces 1.07 billion colours with an average Delta E of 1.5 or lower, supported by a 1000:1 native contrast ratio and 400 nits brightness. It incorporates a 16-bit 3D LUT, BenQ ICCsync, HDR10 support, and Third-Gen Uniformity Technology. The monitor includes factory calibration documentation, supports Paper Color Sync software for screen-to-print soft proofing, and enables hardware calibration using Palette Master Ultimate software. Certifications include Calman Verified, Pantone Validated, and Pantone SkinTone Validated.
Connectivity and Video Workflow
A single USB-C port provides video transmission, data transfer, and power delivery up to 90W, offering compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 devices. Dedicated video connections include one HDMI 2.0 port and one DisplayPort 1.4 port, alongside chroma sampling support for 4:4:4, 4:2:2, and 4:2:0 formats. An integrated KVM switch allows control of connected systems, while a built-in memory card reader handles direct media transfers.
Ergonomics and Build
