Wide-Format and Borderless Media Handling
This single-function desktop printer accommodates paper sizes ranging from 4 x 6″ up to A3+ through its 150-sheet rear paper tray. It produces borderless prints across standard sheet dimensions, including A3+, A3, A4, LTR, and dedicated photo sizes. Media compatibility encompasses plain paper between 64 and 105 g/m², as well as specialty media up to approximately 300 g/m².
Six-Colour Individual Ink Configuration
The print engine employs six individual ink tanks, combining pigment black ink for clean text alongside dye-based colour and grey inks for smooth gradations. The individual cartridge layout allows replacement of only the exhausted colour. The machine accepts standard PGI-750 and CLI-751 cartridges or optional high-yield XL cartridges to accommodate varying workload volumes.
Office Connectivity and Disc Production
Integrated IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless networking and USB 2.0 provide flexible connectivity across local office workstations. Wireless mobile workflows are supported through Apple AirPrint, the Canon PRINT app, and Wireless PictBridge. The included CD-R tray facilitates direct label printing onto compatible discs without requiring adhesive labels.
