Direct Thermal Printing Performance
The Brother TD-4410D produces monochrome barcodes, shipping labels, and product tags at speeds reaching 203.2 mm per second. Operating with a 203 dpi print resolution, the direct thermal printhead applies heat directly to treated media without ink ribbons or toner cartridges. This mechanism delivers a maximum print width of 104.1 mm and lengths up to 3,000 mm for industrial dispatch and inventory management.
Media Handling and Roll Loading
The printer accepts media widths from 19 mm to 118 mm and roll diameters up to 127 mm on a 12.7 mm core. A spindle-less internal compartment simplifies the insertion of new rolls across continuous, die-cut, fanfold, tag, perforated, and wristband formats. Media monitoring relies on an adjustable reflective black mark sensor alongside a fixed transmissive gap sensor to register varying label layouts, with tear-off separation provided as standard.
Workstation Connectivity and Controls
Physical connections comprise a USB 2.0 Type-B interface and an RS-232C serial DB9 male port for dedicated terminal and single-workstation integration. This model does not include wired Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth modules, making it suited for isolated desk setups. The external control panel features three indicator LEDs alongside dedicated hardware buttons for Power, Feed, and Print operations.
System Emulation and Software Integration
Built-in memory includes 256 MB RAM and 64 MB Flash storage, with 40 MB allocated to user templates. Supported command languages cover ZPL emulation, CPCL emulation, Raster, ESC/P, and P-touch Template architectures. Desktop label design is managed via the supplied Brother P-touch Editor 5.2 package, supported by certified WHQL Windows drivers and Linux drivers.
