Three-in-one desktop printing
The Canon PIXMA G2730 combines colour printing, flatbed scanning, and document copying in a compact purple body measuring 416 x 337 x 177 mm and weighing 6 kg. It links to a local computer via a USB 2.0 connection. The flatbed scanner handles documents up to A4 or Letter size using a Contact Image Sensor, while the copy function delivers up to 21 copies per run.
Refillable ink bottle system
This model features integrated refillable tanks that accept pigment black ink along with dye-based cyan, magenta, and yellow inks. Each ink bottle has a customised nozzle shape matching its designated tank opening to prevent accidental mixing. A set of GI-71S ink bottles is included in the packaging, and optional GI-71 replacement bottles are supported.
Monthly capacity and upkeep
Built for a recommended monthly print volume of 150 to 1,500 pages, the printer supports a maximum duty cycle of up to 3,000 pages per month. Routine maintenance is simplified by the user-replaceable MC-G04 maintenance cartridge, allowing operators to complete cartridge swaps without requiring on-site service assistance.
Warranty and registration
Canon provides a 2-year in-house warranty or 20,000 pages, whichever comes first. To receive this warranty coverage, the user must register the product with Canon Malaysia within 14 days of purchase at https://ylwc.canon.com.my.
