Multifunction Printing and Copying Performance
The Canon imageCLASS MF3010 integrates mono printing, scanning, and copying within an ultra-compact body designed for desktop placement. It produces prints at speeds of up to 18 ppm for A4 and 19 ppm for Letter, achieving a first printout time of approximately 7.8 seconds for A4. Canon On-Demand Fixing Technology directs thermal energy directly to the ceramic heating element to provide a warm-up time of 10 seconds or less.
Paper Handling and Scanning Capability
Media input relies on a 150-sheet cassette supporting media weights between 60 and 163 g/m², alongside a 100-sheet face down output tray. The integrated flatbed scanner captures documents at an optical resolution of up to 600 x 600 dpi, with driver-enhanced output reaching up to 9600 x 9600 dpi. Copying output reaches up to 18 cpm for A4 using either speed priority at 600 x 400 dpi or resolution priority at 600 x 600 dpi.
Maintenance and Interface Design
Routine servicing uses the Canon Cartridge 325, combining the photosensitive drum, cleaning mechanism, and toner container within a single all-in-one unit. The unit ships with a 700-page bundled cartridge, and standard replacement Cartridge 325 supplies provide a yield of 1,600 pages. Physical interaction is handled through an operation panel flush with the machine exterior, featuring a 7-segment 1-digit LED display and 64 MB of shared device memory.
