The HP DesignJet T830 24-in Multifunction Printer combines printing, scanning, and copying capabilities in a single unit. It uses HP Thermal Inkjet technology to deliver colour print quality up to 2400 x 1200 optimized dpi. The printer operates with 4 print cartridges, using dye-based cyan, magenta, and yellow inks alongside pigment-based matte black ink.
Scanning and Copying Capabilities
The integrated scanner provides an optical and enhanced scanning resolution of up to 600 dpi for originals measuring up to 610 mm x 2.77 m. Scan destinations include email, cloud destinations via the HP Smart app, network folders, USB storage, local computers, and mobile devices, with output available in JPEG, PDF, and TIFF formats. The copier offers reduction and enlargement adjustments from 50 to 400% and can produce up to 99 copies per job.
Media Handling and Formats
Finished media handling incorporates an input tray, manual sheet feed, roll feed, media bin, and an automatic horizontal cutter. Supported media sizes include A4 and A3 through the input tray, as well as A2 and A1 via manual feed. Custom media sizes range from 210 x 279 to 330 x 482 mm for the input tray and 330 x 482 to 610 x 1897 mm for manual feed, accepting media weights of 60 to 220 g/m² in the tray and 60 to 280 g/m² on roll or manual feeds.
Network and Mobile Connectivity
Connectivity options include Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base-T) and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. Users can print from mobile hardware using Wi-Fi Direct, local Wi-Fi, HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint, and the HP Smart App, with support for Android and iOS operating systems.
