A3+ Document and Graphic Printing
The Canon PIXMA iX6770 is designed for printing spreadsheets, CAD drawings, and photo media up to A3+ dimensions. The rear feed accommodates 150 sheets of standard 64 g/m² plain paper, with support for media weights reaching 300 g/m² on compatible photo papers.
Print Performance and Media Flexibility
A total of 5,120 print head nozzles deliver micro-droplet placement across document and photo jobs. Rated print speeds reach 14.5 ipm for monochrome documents and 10.4 ipm for colour pages, with 4 x 6″ borderless photo prints produced in approximately 36 seconds. In addition to standard paper sizes such as A4, A3, LTR, and LGL, the printer accepts custom dimensions up to 329 mm wide and 676 mm long.
Individual Cartridge System and Yield Options
The unit operates with five separate cartridges: pigment black PGI-750 and dye-based CLI-751 black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. Standard pigment black cartridges yield 300 pages, while the optional PGI-755XXL black tank yields up to 800 pages to support heavier printing requirements.
Connectivity and Power Management
The printer connects via a wired USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface. Integrated Auto Power ON detects incoming print requests over USB to start the device, and Auto Power OFF shuts down the unit after a set interval. Active power consumption is approximately 21 W, standby consumption is approximately 0.8 W, and acoustic noise during 4 x 6″ photo printing is rated at approximately 44.5 dB(A).
