Mobile operation and battery charging
The included LK-72 lithium-ion battery provides cordless printing of up to 330 sheets on a full charge. A ten-minute boost charge with the AC adaptor delivers enough power for approximately 36 pages. Recharging is supported via the AC adaptor or through USB Type-C connections from laptops, power banks, and USB chargers.
Wireless connectivity and stored templates
Dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi alongside Wireless Direct enable direct printing from mobile devices without an external network. The printer supports mobile workflows through Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service, and the Canon PRINT application. Frequently used business forms and contracts can be stored directly on the device as custom print templates, enabling on-demand printing without connecting to a computer.
Media handling and hardware features
The rear feeder holds up to 50 sheets of plain A4 paper or up to 10 sheets of 4 x 6-inch glossy photo paper, producing borderless output across multiple formats. The lightweight 2.3 kg chassis includes a 1.44-inch monochrome OLED display for monitoring device settings and ink levels. An integrated anti-theft lock slot enables securing the device on location using a standard cable.
Ink system and recommended workload
Document production is handled by a two-cartridge hybrid system comprising PGI-35 pigment black for sharp text and CLI-36 dye colour for charts and photo media. Engineered for light commercial field duty, the unit features a duty cycle of up to 500 pages per month, with a recommended monthly volume between 10 and 80 pages.
