Media Handling and Output Stacking
This 36-inch multifunction printer includes an automatic front-loading dual roll feed with smart roll switching, alongside standard sheet feed. Output is organised using an integrated output stacker and media bin, supported by an automatic horizontal cutter. The device accommodates media sizes A4, A3, A2, A1, and A0, as well as custom sheet dimensions from 210 x 279 to 914 x 1219 mm across bond, technical, film, and photographic media.
Scanning and Document Conversion
The integrated scanner utilises a straight-through paper path designed for sheet and cardboard originals, delivering optical resolutions up to 600 dpi. Users can scan directly to USB, shared network folders, printer storage, email, and HP Build Workspace. Supported scan formats comprise JPEG, TIFF, multipage TIFF, PDF, and multipage PDF, with cloud-based AI vectorisation available to convert raster drawings into CAD files via HP Build Workspace.
Thermal Inkjet Architecture and Connectivity
Printing is driven by HP Thermal Inkjet technology using one universal printhead and six individual ink supplies, combining pigment-based matte black with dye-based colour and photo black inks. Network integration is provided through Gigabit Ethernet, with wireless support available via an optional Jetdirect accessory. File processing is supported by 128 GB of memory and managed through a 15.6-inch touchscreen display.
