Dual-Roll Media Handling and Integrated Trimming
This 44-inch large-format printer incorporates two automatic roll feeds with smart roll-switching alongside a top sheet feed. The built-in vertical trimmer and automatic horizontal cutter cleanly separate finished prints on HP Z-series-qualified media, including most canvas. Supported roll widths span 279 to 1118 mm, accommodating standard sheets from A4 to A0 and custom dimensions up to 1118 x 1676 mm with media thickness up to 0.8 mm.
High-Definition Colour and Pigment Inks
HP Thermal Inkjet technology and HP Pixel Control work with three universal printheads to deliver up to 2400 x 1200 optimized dpi resolution with ±0.1% line accuracy. The six-ink pigment system uses HP Vivid Photo Inks—including chromatic red—to produce water-resistant and fade-resistant output for indoor and outdoor display without requiring light ink cartridges.
Workflow, Processing, and Security
A 500 GB self-encrypting internal hard drive and 128 GB of virtual memory support print jobs through HP Click software. The device supports direct printing from USB flash drives via Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and integrates into networks over Gigabit Ethernet.
