4K projection and optical adjustment
The Panasonic PT-FRQ50 is a 1-Chip DLP™ projector with 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Quad Pixel Drive uses 2-axis pixel-quadrupling technology to produce 4K images. The fixed-lens design includes 2.0x manual zoom, manual focus, vertical lens shift of +71 % and -48 %, and horizontal lens shift of +34 % and -27 %.
Connections and installation
Two HDMI™ 19-pin inputs support HDCP 2.3 and Deep Color. DIGITAL LINK IN / LAN uses RJ-45 for network and DIGITAL LINK connection, including video, network and serial control. The projector supports ceiling or floor placement, front or rear projection, and free 360-degree installation. Keystone correction range is vertical ±40 ° and horizontal ±20 °.
Projection range and operational features
The supported screen size is 1.02–7.62 m, or 40–300 in, in 16:9 aspect ratio. Light output declines to 50 % after 20,000 hours in NORMAL mode, 24,000 hours in ECO mode, and 20,000 hours in QUIET mode. The PT-FRQ50 includes Rich Color Enhancer with Dynamic and Standard/Graphic modes, plus a preactivated upgrade kit for Geometry Manager Pro.
Multi-projector and control functions
Free Grid provides geometric adjustment from the projector remote control and automatically saves adjustment progress. Multi-screen support includes edge blending, color matching and digital image enlargement. Data cloning copies settings to identical projectors via LAN, excluding passwords, projector name/ID and network settings. Remote Preview Lite previews input video on a laptop while the projector is in Standby Mode and requires Multi Monitoring & Control Software Version 3.2 or later.
Warranty
3 years set warranty against manufacturing defects & 10,000 hrs whichever comes first for LASER projectors.
