WUXGA laser projection
The Panasonic PT-LMZ420 is a WUXGA projector with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It uses a Transparent LCD panel (x 3, R/G/B) display method and laser diodes as its light source. Light output is specified as 4,200 lm, with a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 (Full On/Full Off, Dynamic mode).
Screen and installation settings
The projector supports a 0.76–7.62 m (30–300 in) diagonal screen size in a 16:10 aspect ratio. Vertical keystone correction is ±25 ° and horizontal keystone correction is ±35 °. Installation supports ceiling or floor placement, front or rear projection, and free 360-degree installation.
Inputs and control
Two HDMI™ 19-pin inputs accept 4K/30p signal input, with 4K signals converted to the projector’s resolution upon projection. The USB Type A connector supports the Memory Viewer function and an optional AJ-WM50 Series Wireless Module. The RJ-45 LAN connection supports network control.
Operating details
Operation noise is specified as 33 dB in NORMAL mode, 33 dB in ECO mode and 23 dB in QUIET mode. The stated time until light output declines to 50 % is 20,000 hours in NORMAL mode, 24,000 hours in ECO mode and 20,000 hours in QUIET mode.
