Projection and adjustment
The PT-VMZ72 delivers 7,300 lm and projects at WUXGA resolution and has a 1.6x manual zoom lens with a throw ratio of 1.09–1.77:1. It supports screen sizes from 0.76–7.62 m (30–300 in) in a 16:10 aspect ratio. Vertical lens shift from center of screen is +44 % and horizontal lens shift is ±20 %. Keystone correction is vertical ±25° and horizontal ±35°.
Connections and control
HDMI inputs support 4K/30p signal input and CEC. DIGITAL LINK supports video, network and serial control through an HDBaseT-compliant RJ-45 connection, including 4K/30p signal input. The dedicated LAN connection supports network control and PJLink [Class 2].
USB and network capability
The USB Type A connection supports Memory Viewer, the optional AJ-WM50 Series Wireless Module and power supply at DC 5 V, maximum 2 A. The projector supports IPv4 and IPv6. The optional AJ-WM50 Series Wireless Module does not support IPv6.
Operating details
Light output declines to 50 % after 20,000 hours in NORMAL mode, 24,000 hours in ECO mode, and 20,000 hours in QUIET mode. Operation noise is 37 dB in NORMAL mode, 32 dB in QUIET1 mode and 27 dB in QUIET2 mode. A 10 W monaural speaker is built in.
Physical specification and warranty
The white body measures 399 mm x 115 mm x 348 mm, not including protruding parts, and weighs approximately 7.0 kg. The supplied filter is listed in the box contents. It has 3 years set warranty against manufacturing defects & 10,000 hrs whichever comes first for LASER projectors.
