Integrated Refillable Ink System
The Canon PIXMA G1010 incorporates integrated front-facing ink reservoirs with transparent windows, enabling direct visual checks of remaining ink. It operates with GI-790 ink bottles featuring specialized nozzles shaped to minimize mess during refills. When filled, the bottles yield up to 6,000 monochrome pages or 7,000 colour pages on standard A4 plain paper.
Print Output and Media Handling
Document print speeds reach approximately 8.8 ipm for monochrome sheets and 5.0 ipm for colour pages, while a borderless 4×6-inch photo prints in roughly 60 seconds. The rear feeding tray accommodates 100 sheets of A4 plain paper, 80 sheets of high-resolution paper, or 20 sheets of 4×6-inch glossy photo paper, accepting plain paper weights ranging from 64 to 105 g/m².
System Connectivity and Compatibility
Wired connectivity is provided via a standard USB 2.0 Hi-Speed port for desktop installation. Driver compatibility is restricted to Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7 SP1 operating systems; Mac OS environments are not supported.
