Six-colour dye ink system
The Canon PIXMA G570 utilises refillable GI-73 dye ink bottles in black, grey, cyan, magenta, yellow, and red. The addition of dedicated red and grey inks broadens the colour gamut for photographic output. The high-capacity bottles yield up to 3,800 4 x 6″ photo prints or 3,700 monochrome and 8,000 colour A4 pages.
Media handling and borderless output
A rear paper tray holds up to 100 sheets of plain A4 paper, 80 sheets of high-resolution paper, or 30 sheets of 4 x 6″ photo paper. Supported paper formats range from 91 x 55 mm cards to custom banners reaching 1.2 metres in length. Borderless printing is supported across standard photographic sizes up to A4.
Connectivity and mobile integration
The unit features a 2-line mono LCD display for navigation and status confirmation. Connectivity includes high-speed USB 2.0 and IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless networking with Direct Connection support. Users can print from mobile devices using Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service, and the Canon PRINT application.
Maintenance and operation
The printer uses a user-replaceable MC-G02 maintenance cartridge and CH-71 print heads. It supports a monthly duty cycle of up to 8,000 pages and achieves a simplex first print out time of 20 seconds. With physical dimensions of 445 x 340 x 136 mm and a weight of 5.1 kg, the device fits compact office spaces.
