Scanning performance and feeder handling
The unit integrates a flatbed scanner with an automatic document feeder capable of holding 200 sheets @ 75gsm. It performs single-pass duplex scanning at rates up to 120 ppm or 240 ipm in black-and-white and colour. Built-in multifeed detection monitors paper feeding during scanning operations.
Optical system and media dimensions
Image capture uses Charge Coupled Device (CCD) and Contact Image Sensor (CIS) technologies with an optical resolution up to 600 ppi. The flatbed and ADF support media dimensions up to 297 x 432 mm. When long scan size is selected, the automatic feeder accommodates lengths up to 297 x 864 mm.
Data processing and storage security
Onboard optical character recognition (OCR) and zonal OCR convert scanned pages directly into editable text. The hardware includes an encrypted 500 GB HDD. It supports HP Web JetAdmin.
Connectivity and physical specifications
Network integration is provided through standard built-in Gigabit Ethernet, alongside a USB cable for direct connection. Physical measurements without stand are 602 x 635 x 287 mm, and the unit weight is 21.4 kg.
