Display and lens specification
The Panasonic PT-VMQ65 is a laser projector with 4K (3840 x 2400) with Quad Pixel Drive resolution and 6,500 lm light output. Its native panel is 1920 x 1200 pixels. It uses a transparent LCD panel display method with R/G/B panels. The listed lens is a 1.6x manual zoom, manual-focus lens with a throw ratio of 1.09–1.77:1.

Time until light output declines to 50 % is listed as 20,000 hours in NORMAL mode, 24,000 hours in ECO mode and 20,000 hours in QUIET mode. Operation noise is listed as 35 dB in NORMAL mode, 30 dB in QUIET1 and 25 dB in QUIET2. The warranty is 3 years set warranty against manufacturing defects & 10,000 hrs whichever comes first for LASER projectors. Panasonic lists these specifications as preliminary.
