Pigment Ink Formulation
The printer operates with four separate GI-76 pigment ink bottles engineered to resist water, highlighting markers, and fading. A standard black bottle delivers up to 6,000 pages, extending to 9,000 pages in Economy Mode. The cyan, magenta, and yellow colour set yields up to 14,000 pages under standard operation and reaches 21,000 pages in Economy Mode, supporting recommended monthly print volumes of 300 to 2,500 pages.
Flexible Media Paths
Document feeding comprises a 250-sheet front paper cassette, a 100-sheet rear tray, and a single-sheet flat tray. The flat tray provides a straight horizontal feed path for stiff media measuring up to 0.7 mm in thickness. Automatic double-sided printing runs at 10 ipm for monochrome and 8 ipm for colour, reducing manual paper handling for reports and forms.
Office Connectivity and Routine Maintenance
Network integration supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct, alongside wired USB 2.0 and mobile compatibility via Apple AirPrint and Mopria Print Service. Operational status displays on a 1.35-inch monochrome LCD panel with administrator control features. Routine upkeep is simplified by a user-replaceable MC-G03 maintenance cartridge, avoiding service visits when the ink collector reaches capacity.
