Refillable Ink System for High-Volume Printing
The Canon PIXMA G4770 utilises ink bottles delivering up to 6,000 monochrome pages in standard mode and up to 7,600 monochrome pages in Economy Mode. Colour yields reach up to 8,100 pages in Economy Mode. Each ink bottle nozzle fits only its designated ink tank, preventing accidental colour mixing during refills.
Document Feeder and Paper Handling
A 35-sheet automatic document feeder enables batch scanning, copying, and Super G3 faxing without manual intervention. The flatbed platen scanner delivers an optical resolution of 600 x 1,200 dpi. The rear tray holds up to 100 sheets of plain paper to support regular multi-page print runs.
Wireless Connectivity and Software
Network integration is provided via Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11b/g/n on 2.4 GHz and Wireless Direct connection, alongside a USB 2.0 port. Navigation is handled through a 1.35-inch square monochrome LCD panel. The printer supports Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS operating systems, and allows printing from mobile devices and cloud storage via Canon PRINT.
User Maintenance and Warranty
Routine upkeep is streamlined by an MC-G04 maintenance cartridge that can be replaced directly by office staff. The machine supports a monthly duty cycle of up to 3,000 pages. Canon provides a 2-year on-site warranty or 30,000 pages, whichever comes first. To receive warranty coverage, the printer must be registered with Canon Malaysia within 14 days of purchase at https://ylwc.canon.com.my.
