Six-Colour Ink System and Photo Quality
The Canon PIXMA G670 utilises a dedicated six-dye ink formulation including black, grey, cyan, magenta, yellow, and red bottles. This configuration produces fine photographic gradations and vibrant tones at resolutions reaching 4,800 by 1,200 dpi. The refillable ink bottles are designed for spill-free refilling and stop automatically when the tank is full.
Media Capabilities and Scanning
A rear paper feeder accommodates up to 100 sheets of standard A4 plain paper. It supports custom paper sizes ranging from 55 mm to 216 mm in width and up to 1,200 mm in length for banner work. An integrated flatbed scanner with a Contact Image Sensor provides document capture up to 600 by 1,200 dpi across paper sizes up to A4 and Letter.
Serviceability and Office Connectivity
Maintenance downtime is reduced through user-replaceable CH-71L and CH-71R print heads and a user-replaceable maintenance cartridge. The device connects across local networks using 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, supports direct mobile printing via AirPrint and Mopria, and links directly to computers through USB 2.0. Routine print jobs and operational statuses are checked via a two-line monochrome LCD screen.
Duty Cycle and In-House Warranty
The printer is rated for monthly duty cycles of up to 8,000 pages, with a recommended monthly photographic volume of 50 to 250 4R prints. Warranty coverage is provided under a 1-year in-house warranty or 3,000 prints, whichever comes first.
