Document and Photo Handling
This unit delivers print resolutions up to 1200 x 1200 rendered dpi for black and up to 4800 x 1200 optimised dpi for colour when printing from a computer. It supports borderless photo printing, P3 colour gamut reproduction, and automatic double-sided printing for 4 x 6 inch photos and cards. Supported print formats also include 5 x 5 inch and 4 x 12 inch panoramic layouts.
Scanning and Digital Sending
The flatbed scanner provides an optical resolution of up to 1200 dpi with a maximum scan dimension of 215.9 x 297 mm. Users can route digital files using Scan to email and Scan to HP Cloud functions. Document transmission is supported via mobile fax for sending files directly from mobile devices.
Connectivity and Mobile Operation
System connection is supported through dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port. Mobile printing capability includes the HP app, Apple AirPrint, Chrome OS, Mopria Print Service, Mopria certification, and the HP Print Service Plugin for Android. Device settings can be operated directly on the integrated 2.4-inch colour capacitive touchscreen.
Cartridges and Warranty
The printer operates with HP 683 Black cartridges rated at approximately 400 pages and HP 683 Tri-color cartridges rated at approximately 200 pages. Supplied in the box are setup cartridges, a power cord, a USB cable, a setup guide, a reference guide, and a regulatory flyer. The hardware carries a 2-year warranty with on-site one-to-one exchange.
