The Brother MFC-L8690CDW handles multi-page document workflows with print speeds of up to 31 pages per minute for A4 documents in both colour and black. The machine is equipped with an 800 MHz processor and 1 GB of memory, achieving a first page out time under 15 seconds. Its 50-sheet dual CIS automatic document feeder captures both sides of a sheet in a single pass to speed up scanning, copying, and faxing tasks.
Paper Handling and Capacity Expansion
The standard configuration includes a 250-sheet paper tray and a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray suitable for envelopes and odd media up to 10 mm thick. For offices with heavier print requirements, the unit supports optional lower paper trays—either up to three 250-sheet cassettes (LT-330CL) or up to two 500-sheet cassettes (LT-340CL)—for an additional capacity of up to 1,000 sheets.
