Driverless PC Connectivity
The Brother PT-P700 connects directly to computers through a standard USB interface. Built-in P-touch Editor Lite software launches upon connection, allowing users to create labels immediately without downloading or installing printer drivers. For advanced formatting and sequential numbering up to 5000 copies, the machine also supports the downloadable P-touch Editor 5.1 software.
Media Versatility and Tape Handling
This electronic labeller handles Brother TZe laminated tapes across six standard widths ranging from 3.5 mm to 24 mm. With a maximum print height of 18.1 mm and support for vertical and mirror text printing, administrators can produce custom identifiers for office assets, files, and equipment. An integrated automatic full cutter trims each label cleanly upon completion to reduce manual handling.
Custom Design and Image Integration
Using connected computer software, labels can incorporate computer fonts, pre-set frames, symbols, and screen captures. The device supports several common graphics formats, including JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, and GIF. Label lengths can span between 25 mm and 300 mm in Editor Lite, extending up to 1000 mm when utilising Editor 5.1.
Compact Design and Flexible Operation
Measuring 78 mm wide by 143 mm deep and 152 mm high with a weight of 710 g, the desktop unit occupies minimal workspace. It operates using the supplied AD-E001A AC power adapter for continuous desk use or six AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries for portable tasks. Standard packaging includes a starter 4-metre roll of 24 mm black-on-white laminated tape, a USB cable, the mains adapter, and an operating guide.
