Projection and placement
The Panasonic PT-FRZ50 is a 1-Chip DLP™ projector for education and corporate use. Its 2.0x manual zoom lens has a throw ratio of 1.46–2.94:1, with manual focus. Manual vertical lens shift from center of screen is +64 % and -44 %, while manual horizontal lens shift from center of screen is +34 % and -27 %.
It supports a 1.02–7.62 m screen size, stated for a 16:10 aspect ratio. Keystone correction is Vertical: ±40 ° and Horizontal: ±20 °. Installation options include ceiling or floor placement, front or rear projection, and free 360-degree installation. Curved-screen correction and Auto Image Rotation are supported.
Connections and signal input
The projector has HDMI™ 19-pin x 2 connections and an RJ-45 connection for network and DIGITAL LINK connections. HDMI and DIGITAL LINK accept 4K/60p signal input, with 4K signals converted to 1920 x 1200 pixels upon projection. PJLink™ Class 2, HDBaseT™ and Art-Net are listed for the DIGITAL LINK IN / LAN connection.
Quartet Color Harmonizer modulates light output according to image colour requirements. Rich Color Enhancer provides Dynamic Mode and Graphic Mode/Standard Mode. The PT-FRZ50 uses filterless cooling and a hermetically sealed optical engine, and supports continuous 24/7 projection. Operation noise is 32 dB [NORMAL] or 27 dB [QUIET].
Warranty
The warranty is 3 years set warranty against manufacturing defects & 10,000 hrs whichever comes first for LASER projectors.
