Note Detector

A note detector checks banknotes for signs of counterfeiting using UV light, infrared scanning, magnetic ink detection, or a combination of these methods. We carry Safescan note detectors at two levels: the compact Safescan 40 for basic UV checking at the point of sale, and the Safescan 185-S which automatically scans notes using multiple detection methods for a higher level of confidence. Replacement UV lamps for Safescan UV 50–70 models are also available.
