What is the difference between preset value counting and mixed denomination value counting?
These are two different levels of value counting and it is important to understand the difference before buying. Preset value counting — You manually sort notes by denomination first, then set the denomination on the machine before counting each batch. The machine counts the pieces and multiplies by the preset value to give the total. For example, set RM10, feed 50 notes, machine reports 50 pcs × RM10 = RM500. You then repeat for each denomination separately. This method works well for businesses that are comfortable sorting notes by hand before counting. Mixed denomination value counting — The machine automatically identifies each note's denomination as it feeds through, counts pieces per denomination, and calculates the grand total in a single pass — no pre-sorting required.
