What types of printers do you sell?

What is the difference between a laser printer and an inkjet printer?
A laser printer uses toner powder fused onto paper by heat. It prints faster, costs less per page for text documents, and is better suited for high-volume daily printing. Toner cartridges last much longer than ink cartridges. A inkjet printer uses liquid ink sprayed onto paper. It produces better colour accuracy and photo quality at lower upfront cost, but ink cartridges run out faster and cost more per page. For an office printing primarily text documents in volume, laser is the smarter long-term choice. For mixed document and photo printing in lower volumes, inkjet is more flexible.
What is a dot-matrix printer used for — do offices still need one?
Yes — dot-matrix printers are still very much in use in Malaysian offices for one specific job: printing on multi-part carbon copy forms. The pin-strike mechanism physically presses through multiple layers of paper simultaneously, creating duplicate or triplicate copies in a single pass. No other printer type can do this. If your business uses multi-part delivery orders, invoices, receipts, or any government-issued carbon copy forms, a dot-matrix printer is irreplaceable for that task.
Do you sell printer ink, toner, and ribbons?
Yes — we supply printer consumables for most major brands. This includes original ink cartridges, original toner cartridges, compatible toner cartridges, original dot-matrix ribbons, and compatible ribbons. Compatible consumables are third-party alternatives that work with your printer at a lower cost per cartridge — a good option for offices looking to reduce printing costs without compromising too much on output quality. What is compatible toner and is it safe to use?
Compatible toner is manufactured by third-party suppliers to work with specific printer models — it is not made by the original printer brand. It is significantly cheaper than original toner, typically 40–60% less per cartridge. Quality varies by supplier, but good compatible toner produces acceptable output for most standard office document printing. The main tradeoff is that using compatible consumables may void the printer manufacturer's warranty in some cases. For mission-critical printing or high-quality output requirements, original toner is the safer choice. For everyday internal document printing where cost matters more, compatible toner is a practical option.
Do you repair printers?
Yes — printer repair and servicing is one of our core offerings. We service most major brands including Epson, Canon, Brother, and HP. Common issues we fix include paper jams, printhead clogs, streaky or faded output, roller wear, ink system errors, and connectivity faults. My printer is printing with lines or streaks — what should I do?
For inkjet printers, lines and streaks are usually caused by a clogged printhead. Run the built-in head cleaning utility from your printer's settings menu — two or three cleaning cycles often clear the blockage. If the problem persists, the printhead may need professional cleaning or replacement. For laser printers, streaks are typically caused by a low or faulty toner cartridge, a dirty drum unit, or a worn fuser. Try shaking the toner cartridge gently first — if streaks continue, the cartridge likely needs replacing. If you are unsure, bring it in or send it to us for a proper diagnosis.
